Shuffling the deck
Give us a second to lay out the good stuff.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Platinum TCG website (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Platinum TCG”). By browsing the site, submitting a buy request, bulk offer, or job application, or clicking through to buy a listing, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
This is a general-audience policy written for a small, collector-run shop, not a substitute for legal advice. If you need this document to meet a specific regulatory framework, have a lawyer review it before relying on it as a compliance document.
Platinum TCG lists Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering singles, sealed product, and graded cards for browsing. We are a listing site, not the seller of record and not a marketplace that processes checkout. Every listing links out to where you actually buy it — a third-party marketplace like TCGplayer — and that transaction happens entirely on that site, under its own terms, not ours.
You don't need an account to browse, search, or submit a buy request. There is no customer login on this site — accounts exist only for the staff who run the store.
The Request an item form lets you ask us to source or list something specific. Submitting a request is not an order, doesn't create any obligation for us to find or list the item, and doesn't create any obligation for you to buy it if we do. We may decline, ignore, or close any request at our discretion, including if it's incomplete, abusive, or outside what we deal in. To keep the form usable for everyone, submissions are limited to one per person per day.
Our Careers page lets you apply to open positions. Submitting an application doesn't guarantee a response, an interview, or a job offer, and we may decline or disregard any application at our discretion. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you submit — the application itself asks you to certify that directly, and if you're hired, that employment would be at-will, as described on the application. To keep the form usable for everyone, submissions are rate-limited, and you may apply to a given posting only once.
Our Sell your collection page lets you offer us a collection — singles, graded cards, sealed product, or a whole collection at once — and our Sell your bulk page lets you offer bulk lots or unsorted commons.
Either way, submitting isn't a sale — it doesn't obligate us to buy, or you to sell if we make an offer, and either of us can walk away at any point before it's finalized. Any price we offer is based on what you describe, the cards you list, and any photos you send; we may adjust or withdraw an offer if what actually arrives doesn't match that description. Payment and shipping arrangements for an accepted offer are worked out directly with you, not processed on this site. To keep both forms usable for everyone, submissions are limited to one per person per day.
We try to keep titles, set information, condition, grading details, and pricing accurate, but we don't guarantee it. Prices, stock, and availability can change at any time without notice, including between when you view a listing and when you complete a purchase elsewhere. Condition and grading information reflects our own assessment (or a third-party grader's, for slabbed cards) and isn't a substitute for inspecting the item yourself before you buy, where the marketplace you're purchasing through allows that.
This is the most important thing to understand about how Platinum TCG works: checkout never happens on this site. Clicking “Buy” takes you to an external marketplace, where you're transacting directly with that marketplace (and, depending on how it's structured, possibly with us as a seller on it) under its own terms of service, payment processing, and buyer protections — not this document.
Platinum TCG is not a party to that transaction in the sense of processing your payment or handling checkout on our infrastructure, and we aren't responsible for that marketplace's own availability, pricing at the time you check out, payment processing, or dispute resolution. That said, we're the seller behind the listing and the ones who pack and ship your order, so we back it with our own return policy on top of whatever process the marketplace provides — see Shipping & Returns.
When using this site, you agree not to:
We may restrict or terminate access to the site, at our discretion, for anyone who violates these Terms.
Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and the names, artwork, and logos associated with them are trademarks and copyrighted material of their respective owners (The Pokémon Company / Nintendo, and Wizards of the Coast, respectively). Platinum TCG is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either company — we're an independent shop that lists and sells their products. The Platinum TCG name, logo, and site design are our own, and may not be used without permission.
This site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content (listings, pricing, availability, condition descriptions) is complete or accurate at every moment. We make reasonable efforts to keep things right, but collectible card values and stock can change quickly.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Platinum TCG and its staff aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or a transaction completed on a third-party marketplace we linked you to — including lost value, lost opportunity to buy an item before it sold out, or issues with an order that arise on that marketplace. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
We may update these Terms as the site changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions, except where applicable law requires otherwise based on where you live.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the whole agreement between you and Platinum TCG about using this site.
