This page explains what cookies Platinum TCG sets on your device when you use the site. The short version: there's exactly one, it's only set for staff, and if you're a visitor browsing the storefront, requesting an item, or looking through inventory, nothing gets set at all.

This is a general-audience policy written for a small, collector-run shop, not a substitute for legal advice. If you need this document to meet a specific regulatory framework, have a lawyer review it before relying on it as a compliance document.

A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to store, then sends back on later requests — usually to remember who's signed in, or to track behavior across visits. Not every site needs one for every visitor, and this one mostly doesn't.

The only cookie Platinum TCG ever sets is a session cookie, and only after a staff member signs in to the admin dashboard at /admin:

It's marked HttpOnly, so it can't be read by page scripts, and it's never used for anything other than recognizing a signed-in staff session.

No cookie on this site is used for:

• Analytics or advertising, ours or a third party's.
• Tracking you across visits, pages, or other websites.
• Remembering preferences, carts, or a browsing history — there's no customer account for any of that to belong to.

We do keep an internal log of which cards get clicked and how many buy requests come in, to understand what's in demand — that's covered in our Privacy Policy, and none of it involves a cookie. It's logged server-side when you click through to a listing, not stored on your device.

When you click through to buy something, you leave this site for the marketplace that listing links to (TCGplayer or similar). Whatever cookies that site sets are entirely its own, governed by its own cookie and privacy policy — not this one. We don't control them and don't receive anything from them.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Since the only cookie here is the staff sign-in cookie, blocking cookies has no effect at all on browsing, searching, or submitting a buy request as a visitor — it would only prevent a staff member from staying signed in to the admin dashboard.

If that ever changes — say, we add real analytics down the line — we'll update this page first, and reflect it in the Privacy Policy too. If we make a material change, we'll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions, except where applicable law requires otherwise based on where you live.
